While working in affiliation with the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, I did extensive graphic design and web design work for the Citizen Potawatomi Nation up to 2008. Part of that role involved frequent interaction with the grocery store owned and operated by the tribe, FireLake Foods. I assisted with various aspects of the stores marketing and promotional efforts including photography, web design, events and more.

The WordPress content management system was chosen to develop the website using HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. Once complete, the website was pushed to a live hosting environment. Since the launch of FirelakeFoods.com, the website has become a core component to the growth and expansion of the website both in terms of community viewership, but also social media presence. The website continues to provide a platform for groceries and other related goods in Oklahoma.
